Thoughts about SOPA, ACTA or copyright in general

You know the saying that everything new is basically re-invented old? So when you take it that way, we should also put a veto on our thoughts or feelings, because there are hundreds of thousands of people who feel the same way or say the same things over and over again.

I’m not justifying piracy or anything, but there’s a thin line between originality and copying. It is not OK to steal another artist’s work and claim it yours, but it is OK to share or enjoy it by yourself or with others if reference is added.

Right now these new laws (or whatever they’re supposed to be) are just ridiculous and (or will) constrain many artists who just want to share their work with others.
